I've work for HVAC companies since 1987, and in that time, I've done Christmas Cards for the companies I worked for, along with others I picked up in the construction industry.
Trade Greetings, Inc. was incorporated in 1998. With the advent of digital printing, now you don't have to order 1,000 cards to get great custom-designed cards. All the designs are my own work; no designs are farmed out or stock designs from other companies.
I've done cards for companies across the United States and in Puerto Rico, and this year, I've even customed 2 of my designs for a company in England.
I'm always open to new design ideas and new industries, so if you have an idea, send it over and let's see what we can come up with!
Here's the one that started it all. I was an A/R clerk for Canon USA, my first "real" job, and people in the office were debating what type of Christmas Card to get. Since I'd wreaked havoc with my cartoons of Office Life, they came to me and asked if I'd draw a scene of D.C. So I whipped out a piece of typing paper, sketched the admittedly cheesy sketch you see below, and boom! We had a Christmas Card. I think it's pretty bad, but hey, they all liked it!
Like any enterprising young man, I began to mull the idea of doing Christmas Cards for businesses. Of course, in those days, before digital printing, it was awfully expensive to have custom cards done. You'd have to order 1000 or more cards to make the whole thing cost-effective.
With the advent of digital printing, now anyone can have custom designed cards!
